SPLASH OF COLOUR

For this week's Picture Perfect theme, I immediately looked through my Morocco pics - all those shots of the fruit and veg markets, the carpet shop, the wool dying factory, the white buildings with red doors surrounded by the blue sky . . .  Or flowers, I thought.  But then I came across this - a flowering cactus in the Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech with their blue and yellow walls.  Perfect!

  1. Excellent shot Neil !! Love the colour contrasts. That takes me back....I visited Marrakesh way back in 1983. Great memories of a wonderful city.

  2. It is a great splash of colour but also has action happening in the photo. I am not sure why. .... the spikes maybe ...thrusting out??? Anyhow it was well done, you old antique, you.
