Fabulous set of shots, Neil!! I've been to Turkey but not Istanbul. Would love to visit there one day. Not sure I like the sound of 'FatBurger' though!! I prefer some meat in mine!! LOL.
i had some glitches up there so removed that response. I wonder about the photo in row 4 and #1. The bride is not covered well. Kate Middleton and others in the royal family seem to understand the 'rule' that the shoulders must always be covered.
It's a curious thing, Karyn; I think the bride has a Muslim wedding first (as strict as the parents demand), and then change into a western style dress to be photographed out and about around town. I photographed loads of them. These are just the ones I liked. But it seems as though the more 'risqué' the better when it comes to western style, even if the Muslime version is very strict.

ReplyDeleteIstanbul's a bit different from tourist or rural Turkey - full of historical remains, but a city. You'd enjoy it, MItch. But take a spare memory card!
DeleteDid you really take those photos. They look like they are staight out of a glossy tourist brichure. Top notch.
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you.
